Another day, another outstanding experience with the folks at Chatel. I went in first thing this morning because I has a question about whether or not taxes were included in my monthly mortgage payment. Even though it is months after the sale (and technically not his responsibility), Lou explained my mortgage statement to me and showed me exactly was was being held in escrow by my bank each month. He went on to educate me on what to look out for and gave me a link to a website so I can make sure my taxes are paid on time by my bank.
This is exceptional service at no additional cost after the sale. I will certainly recommend Lou Costanza and the folks at Chatel to all of my friends and co-workers. They really go above and beyond!
My boyfriend and I bought our first house with Lou and his realtor group. He and his associate, Peter Chan, were great and I would recommend them to anyone, especially first time home buyers. They took us to see dozens of houses, and always accommodated our schedules of having to go on weekends and after work. They also previewed numerous houses without us. They took the time to get to us and our preferences. They were also very patient with our timeline. When we started looking for houses, we were not in an immediate rush.
Lou and Peter are also extremely knowledgeable our the neighborhoods and the competitive market. They had a great handle on how much the house was worth and how much we should make an offer for. Even with how competitive everything is, they never pressured us to make an offer on a house that we weren’t certain about and they never pressured us to go over budget.
Lou in particular was very patient with all of our questions, and even encouraged us to ask questions. He also took the time to explain the process to us and walked us through everything. Peter and Lou were also always accessible by email, phone, or text.
