This Domestic Short Hair Tabby cat was adopted along with her sister, Miss Ernestine, from a District of Columbia animal shelter in 2007. Her nickname is “Dee”. Dee is friendly, affectionate, and easy going. She spends most of her time by her human’s side, watching him work, read, on the computer, etc. She’s even made “guest appearances” during Zoom meetings. Dee takes her pink cat nip toy with her wherever she goes. She also enjoys sitting out on the screened in porch, watching the birds and other wildlife in the back yard. Dee is diabetic, but knows almost to the minute what time to come to the kitchen for her daily insulin shots. When she’s happy, her purr is audible, sometimes even from the next room.
